    Trimming/Pruning

Trimming and pruning allow your trees, shrubs, and bush to thrive. By removing any overgrown or dead branches, sunlight can better reach interior areas of your tree, also allowing for better distribution of nutrients and moisture. Trimming and pruning will also have the benefit of having a well-polished and aesthetically pleasing landscape.

  • A worker in safety gear, helmet, and harness is cutting a large tree branch with a chainsaw high in a wooded area.

    Tree Removal

When a tree becomes a hazard from structural issues to disease, a removal can often be the safest solution. After a site assessment that considers the surrounding environment and potential targets, such as homes or other structures, a safe removal will be completed. This can often benefit surrounding trees and offer peace of mind.

  • A large, twisted tree with textured bark, supported by a wooden stake, standing on a grassy green lawn with surrounding trees and bushes in the background.

    Cabling/Bracing

Cabling and bracing acts as structural reinforcement for your trees. It is a cost-effective solution when faced with diseased or weakened branches that do not pose a threat of collapse or falling limbs. This solution gives the tree support to continue growing properly.

  • Two hands holding dark soil with a green fern planted in it, viewed from above, with a background of ground covered in leaves and small plants.

    Planting

Tree and shrub planting begins with understanding soil and landscape. Juneau Tree Services’ planting service includes site assessment and recommendation on native trees and/or shrubs, delivery and planting of trees/shrubs, and aftercare guide to ensure health and success of trees/shrubs.

  • A yellow stump grinder removing a fallen tree stump from the ground, with wood chips and soil scattering as the machine's blade cuts into the stump.

    Stump Grinding

Stump grinding eliminates the chance of regrowth of unwanted trees by grinding the stump below the ground surface. It also removes the possibility of pests and leads to a more aesthetically pleasing landscape.

  • A blue jay bird standing on a tree stump, holding an animal cracker in its beak, with scattered animal crackers and seeds on the stump.

    Conserving Wildlife Habitat

A site assessment that considers the impact on wildlife of the work to be completed is always reviewed. When possible, wildlife habitat retention, enhancement, and creation will be performed. This can also be a cost-effective solution as opposed to a full removal for selective trees.
